Motiv Bowling has been producing cores for a major bowling brand since the 1990's. In 2009 when the brand they were creating cores for moved their manufacturing plant to Mexico Motiv saw an opportunity to create their own bowling balls. Since then Motiv has expanded their product line to include bags, accessories and most recently shoes.
